RICS Level 3 Building Surveys

A RICS Level 3 Building Survey, formerly called a Structural Survey, is the most in-depth assessment you can have on the condition of a property. It includes a thorough inspection and detailed report on the condition of all visible parts of the building. This type of survey is most appropriate for older buildings, building where there are expected to be defects, or building of unusual construction.

RICS Level 2 Homebuyer Survey

A RICS Level 2 Homebuyer Report is a detailed assessment of the condition of a property intended to inform a prospective buyer about the condition of a property. This type of survey uses a traffic light system to categories the condition of the various building components. It is most suitable for newer buildings, buildings where defects are not thought to exist, and buildings of traditional construction.
